Gantz (Shinsuke Sato, 2011)

Gantz: Perfect Answer (Shinsuke Sato, 2011)

First one's kinda fun—taking the video-gamey premise and running with it—but the second one's just a total mess. The problem comes down to the sense of time; Sato just can't manage intercutting. The more threads of plot there are, the more shambolic—spatially, narratively—the whole thing becomes.

Adding narration can help people understand it more especially those who hasn't heard about it.
