The granddaddy of yer Google Street View, the so-called "Aspen Movie Map," developed at MIT in 1979. Richard Leacock, who was at the time head of MIT's film department, was involved in the project. The mustachioed gentleman with the pipe is, I believe, Andrew Lippman.

Very nice. I haven't been back to my hometown in about 20 years, but I took a long walk "there" on Google Maps last year.

Like your writing on Mubi and dug the show while it was on. Hope that comes back sometime soon.
